SANDWICH FAIR STATION
Visit the US Postal Service’s “Sandwich Fair Station” trailer, located on the fairgrounds
near the windmill to have letters and postcards hand stamped with the custom
2025 cancellation design. The stamp was designed by local artist Jackie Dannewitz.
This year the one-of-a-kind cancellation features the Craft Demonstration building.
Located just south of the racetrack, it opened in 1987. For 15 years prior to the construction of the building, crafters sold their items under a tent-covered area on the
south side of the Home Arts building. When the building opened, five of the crafters
moved into the new space. The number of artisans has increased each year. They
sell their crafts while demonstrating their work. Fairgoers return each year to buy,
admire, and place orders.
