Walk with Santa

Join the fun as the Sycamore Fire Department escorts
Santa and Mrs. Claus to the Sycamore Theater, then
leads a festive parade through downtown to the
courthouse lawn. With your help, Santa will light the
holiday trees before heading to his Santa House to
greet children and collect their wish lists! Free and
open to all.

This Christmas season, as we take time to remember
and celebrate the birth of the Saviour of the world,
Jesus Christ, we would like to invite you to visit our
free, 6th Annual Drive Thru Nativity. Be sure to stop by
Fellowship Baptist Church at 2425 Bethany Road in
Sycamore, on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, December
18-20, from 5-8 pm. Hundreds of luminaires, thousands
of twinkling lights, and Scripture verses will guide you in
a Biblical narrative from the Old Testament prophecies
of Christ’s birth, to the angel’s visits to Mary and Joseph
to their journey to Bethlehem, and onto the birth of
Jesus Christ. Include this in your Christmas celebration
and you will make a lasting, cherished memory. We look
forward to seeing you at our Drive Thru Nativity!

Challenge Begins

Kick off the Winter Reading Challenge, “Warm Tails for
Cold Nights,” at the Sycamore Library’s Holiday Open
House! Enjoy festive music, homemade holiday treats,
and a joyful atmosphere perfect for both kids and
adults. Come celebrate the season with fun, food, and
community spirit!
Santa is spending his holiday season right here in
Sycamore! Visit his cozy “vacation home” on the
courthouse lawn starting December 6, and don’t forget
to drop your wish list in his personal mailbox to make
sure it reaches the North Pole! Free and open to all.
