Ingredients
2 cups heavy cream
8-10 cloves of garlic, minced
¼ cup olive oil, extra virgin or butter (or combo of both)
10 昀氀at anchovy 昀椀llets, 昀椀nely chopped, packed in oil and drained
Raw vegetables of your choice
1 can cream mushroom soup
1 lb loaf Italian or French bread

with these quick safety reminders:
Skip the Table Treats: Chocolate, onions, grapes, and
artificial sweeteners such as xylitol are toxic - stick to petsafe snacks.
Decorate Wisely: Keep tinsel, ornaments, and lights out
of reach to avoid curious paws and accidental ingestions.
Choose Safe Scents: Avoid open flames and try simmer
pots, soy, or beeswax candles for a cozy, pet-friendly glow.
Protect Those Paws: Apply paw wax before walks and
rinse off salt or ice melt afterward to prevent irritation.
Avoid Hidden Hazards: Non-stick Teflon pans can
release fumes harmful to pets, especially birds. Choose
stainless steel or cast iron instead.
Instructions
Melt butter (or oil) in a saute pan over medium heat.
Saute garlic and anchovies until the anchovies have
dissolved into a paste. Pour in the mushroom soup and
cream, turn heat to low and cool for 45 minutes, making
sure the mixture does NOT boil. Keep warm in a slow
cooker and serve with fresh vegetables and bread.
A little extra care goes a long way in keeping your furry
friends safe, warm, and part of the holiday cheer.
TOMATO SOUP

Directions
Using a Dutch oven, put 1 tablespoon olive oil on bottom.

Add:
6-8 cored beefsteak tomatoes
1 whole garlic bulb peeled
1 medium yellow onion sliced
3 red peppers sliced
Drizzle with olive oil
Cover and bake in oven for 2 hours, until softened. Puree
all that is in the pot until all veggies are blended. Add 1 box
chicken stock and 17 oz heavy whipping cream.
Boil on low until all is heated through. Salt and pepper to taste.
Serve and enjoy!
