Let the sounds of the season fill the air as talented madrigal singers
stroll through shops and restaurants, sharing beautiful holiday
carols that capture the spirit of Christmas.

Hot Cocoa for a Cause, 120 Liberty Street

Warm up with a cup of hot cocoa sold by the Eagles Ladies
Auxiliary, with proceeds supporting their charitable mission. Stop
by 120 Liberty Street to sip and give back this season.

20th Anniversary Lighted Holiday Parade
Join local businesses and organizations for this magical holiday
tradition as the streets of Morris come alive with festive floats and
twinkling lights. The parade concludes with the arrival of Santa and
Mrs. Claus, marking the official start of the season. Enjoy lighted
giveaways provided by the City of Morris!

Winter Carnival Fun, 212 W. Washington St.
Join the holiday excitement at the American Legion for a cheerful
Winter Carnival filled with kids’ games, fun prizes, and festive spirit.
It’s a great way for families to start the day with laughter and joy!
Starting at 6:00 pm
Lighting of Chapin Park, Morris Downtown Shopping and
Dining District
Gather with the community to celebrate the ceremonial lighting
of Chapin Park following the parade. Enjoy cocoa courtesy of
the Morris Cub Scouts, along with festive wagon rides and joyful
caroling to close out the evening.

Santa & Reindeer Visit, Grundy County Courthouse
Climb aboard Santa’s sleigh, share your Christmas wishes, and
meet a real reindeer on the courthouse lawn! Chat with one of
Santa’s elves and capture a magical holiday photo to remember.
